This is a very well built brush in both the bristle and the synthetic.
The bristle mix is very good 70% Chinese Bristle and 30% Synthetic filament and the general construction of the is good, with a good solid
handle. The length of bristles give a good delivery of paint and it cuts in very well. It has been noted that these are similar to the Hamilton Perfection of a few years back (Martin Guest), but these brushes are very good value and give a brush that will perform well in either emulsions or oils.
The synthetics are a straight-cut mixed blend of tapered and self-flagging synthetic
filament. With a chiselled head on an oval stock, these are particularly suited for use with water-based paints. They hold a decent amount of paint and lay off very well, again a very good general use brush for the money .
