Oyster Wharf project in Swansea Bay

Located in the seaside village of Mumbles is Oyster Wharf, Ray Munn Paints and Interiors latest project. Oyster Wharf is part of a big regeneration project at the village waterfront featuring various popular retailers and restaurants. In total we will be supplying 1400m² of paint for the exterior render and 1900m² of sealant for limestone and marble. Working together with the people at Oyster Wharf they have had a whole bespoke range of colours created specifically for them and the project. The Oyster Wharf project is still currently ongoing, the first of it's stores should be opening the first week of November and looking to be finished February 2017.

For the exterior render they will be using eico's Alterior Matt with an added extra additive to help with adhesion. Alterior Matt is eico's hard wearing washable matt that can be used inside and outside. It can be used inside for kitchen's and bathroom's or any high traffic areas, externally it can be used on concrete, masonry, cement, rendering plaster and plasterboard. The Alterior Matt has very little odour and is APEO free, any equipment after can simply be cleaned with water.

The sealant that will be used for the limestone and marble is ican Guard a multi surface protector for porous materials. As well as limestone and marble it can also be used on granite, sandstone and slate. ican Guard is a non film-forming surface impregnation where the surface remains permeable to air and water. Once applied it does not alter the surface colour and is UV-resistant, equipment and tools can be cleaned with water.
